Debra Laine
Debra Laine has been the Faith Based Support Coordinator at the Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging in northeastern Minnesota since 2004. She networks with 450 mostly small, rural faith communities in the region and helps them develop programs to serve older adults and to begin exploring 50+ ministry. She is responsible for education programs and equally enjoys empowering faith communities to work together to do what they cannot do alone. She feels that being a resource to faith communities through program implementation and technical assistance are keys to successfully meeting the needs of older adults and boomers.
Prior to 2004 she worked as an independent consultant providing training, curriculum writing, planning, research, writing, and presentations. Debra has a Master’s of Education Degree from the University of Minnesota. Her Bachelor of Science Degree is from the University of Wisconsin–Stout in Home Economics Education. She is working toward an advanced degree in Christian Education.
