John Thill
Rev. John Thill was a senior pastor for 24 years, serving three churches, one of which he founded and served for 18 years. From 1995 to 1998 he worked for Southern California Presbyterian Homes as counselor, resident service coordinator, and housing administrator. From 1998 to 2004 he was President and CEO of Life Services, a not-for-profit elder care company doing conservatorships, care and trust management, and family counseling.
He has extensive experience in the issues of aging from life planning to preventing and prosecuting elder abuse, from counseling people in their fifties to making life and death decisions for people in their nineties. He currently is Director of Ministry for Significant Living and Christian Association Serving Adult Ministries. He holds degrees in history and sociology from Westmont College and a master’s degree from Fuller Seminary. He is ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church.
