December 17, 2009'Letters to God' Trailer: A CT Exclusive
Preview for faith-filled film, from the producer of Facing the Giants and Fireproof, debuts here!
Letters to God, a true story directed by David Nixon (one of the producers of Fireproof and Facing the Giants), is about an 8-year-old boy's brave battle with cancer and how his letters to God affect the local mailman.
The film doesn't hit theaters till April, and the official trailer doesn't debut until next week. But Vivendi Entertainment and Possibility Pictures have given Christianity Today exclusive dibs on the debut. Check it out:

As a mom of a 3 yr cancer survivor, who is only 8 years old, I am looking forward to seeing this movie. Our faith in God and His sovereignty is what brought us through our battle. Please pray for childhood cancer families...it's literally like living through a nightmare that you can't wake up from. Even when kids survive, there are still battles to overcome from effects of treatment. It changes your life forever. The greatest inspiration is the spirit of the children, who find joy even when they are so sick. One of the kids that I visited once said "I'm not sick, I just have cancer." :)

I intend to see this movie.Letters to God is the based-on-a-true-story of a 9-year-old boy stricken with brain cancer who writes his prayers to God in the form of letters.

Letters to God was without a doubt the best movie I have ever seen. I wanted to see the movie in theatres but did not. Watching this movie with my three daughters who are in school, was the best part of it all. Our children face giants like Goliath every day, but showing them that this 8 yr old boy had the faith shows our kids that they too can have the faith he did. This movie was definetly an eye opener.----I pray right now for the families that have a special someone fighting cancer. I pray that you find the strength to love GOD and trust in his will. I pray that you remain strong and keep the courage. ANd when Satan comes knocking saying there is no hope, trust in Jesus because if you know him there is always hope! In Jesus Name-AMEN.
