One mother writing about another
Frederica Mathewes-Green on Ruth: "She often told her children, 'There comes a time to stop submitting and start outwitting.'"
"We don't see many examples of couples who made it through that many decades of marriage with all the lamps still blazing. Leave it to Ruth Bell Graham to show us, brilliantly, how it is done."
Her full tribute is at Beliefnet.

Ruth Graham will always be notable in my mind not only for being Billy's wife, but primarily for having stated that as a child she passed from innocence to saving faith without having rebelled against God and become a lost sinner. I had long contended that to be a genuine possibility for anyone and was greatly encouraged in my view when I learned of Ruth's testimony to that fact in her own life. If the wife of the most prominent evangelist in the world could say it, I could feel confident in saying it myself.
