Congregation loses property battle
A judge ruled that a church property in Oklahoma belongs to the Presbyterian Church USA after a two-year fight with the congregation, Tulsa World reports.
Kirk of the Hills left the Presbyterian Church USA two years ago, expressing concerns that the denomination was drifting from its biblical foundation, reporter Bill Sherman writes. It has continued to meet in the building and plans to appeal the decision.

The attendees at the Presbyterian convention were told that allowing professing homosexuals to be in church leadership was not allowed due to the Constitution. Now the attendees want to change the Constitution of the Church. Why is giving license to professing homosexuals so important to these attendees. Isn't the Church's job to teach addicts to abstain from addiction so they can follow Jesus. I mean, sex is sex but Jesus said to the Prostitute to sin no more, I mean, she was doing sex, the wrong sex, obviously if she did sin more, she didn't follow Jesus. Jesus always refer to wife and husband when talking about marriage, not man and man or woman and woman. He doesn't talk that way. So why are the attendees at the convention so happy about giving sinners the license to continue sinning. Would they do that to a drug addict. Is it because actually being a Christian is too hard work for them to turn sinners around. That's not love and it's certainly not Christian love for your fellow man. If a sinner doesn't want to stop sinning, leave him, and don't encourage him to keep sinning. Only a sinner who wants to be helped can be helped. Giving sinners license is not love. Be there when the sinner is ready and help then, that's love. Giving him license with no attempt to encourage him to change is not love. It's actually hatred of the sinner because he stays in the same state of sinning and lives a life of hell. And for that the attendees at the convention will answer to God.Their philosophy is that of a parent who doesn't stop their kid from running in front of a car because they don't want the kid to hate them, you now, fear of retaliation of the kid. Ya, God will love that attitude when the attendees' answering day comes.

Whay must we continue to single out the sin of homosexuality, and ignore the other sins? We make no restriction against people who lie, but we license them. We make no restriction against people who cheat, but we license them. We make no restriction against people who hate, but we license them. In fact we have so, so many examples of ministers and people who hate, and express that hate in so many various ways, we seem to have forgotten that hate is a sin, too. We split into so many denominations in this country and this world, we have ignored the goal of Jesus: "so that you may become one!!" What a revival we could have if we ALL turned from our wicked ways, confessed our sins, and with joy and compassion opened our hearts and minds to EVERYONE.

I don't know how you live your life, but my Church doesn't license any sin and neither do I. If I catch anyone lieing to me, I confront them and I better not catch them lieing again. My husband better not cheat on me the second (maybe the first time) or he's out the door. Yes, he feels the same way about me. The problem with homosexuals is that they don't want to give up the sex(sin). They want to change the rules of the organization they want to be in because the organization gives them community favor(respect). That's not the reason to follow Jesus. His disciplines gave up everything and sinners have to and can give up their sinning. Homosexuals want the Church to give them respect and license to keep committing the sin. But by demanding this, they give no respect to the Church and its members and bring sin into the Church. As for outside the Church, I don't know what state you live in but in NYState cheating while married just killed the career of the governor who was voted in by the largest margin ever. Society and God does have ethics that sometimes society (meaning people) actually follow. Those who are given license three times do end up paying in their personal and community life if they don't stop. Look around and see the many unhappy people and guess why they're unhappy. As for bad Church leaders, school teachers, etc. sooner or later they are caught with their sin, lose their Church, the law gets them, or something gets them. It's all because humans are humans and if you want a kid for sex, where do you find a kid for sex, in Churches, schools, boy scouts, girl scourts, my point is these people who do this are not Christians, they are in the organization for their own personal reason and can get away with it for many years or die not ever getting caught. Unfortunately, that crap happens too, but most societies once they find these creeps move pretty fast getting them out and away from the victims. Because there are some sins like pure hate (killers, terroists, perverts, etc.) that can't be changed these people will not be resurrected. Jail time doesn't always change the insides or hearts of all people. And, yes, homosexuals can abstain, there are many who are doing so, right now. So there's no reason for them to not abstain if they want to be in an organization that says they should abstain.

The Presbyterians have unfortunately allowed the LGBTQ Coalition to sidetrack the discussion into a topic of sexuality
The ISSUE is NOT sexuality. That is preferred by the Coalition be-
cause it can be debated easier than the TRUE ISSUE which is the authenticity and validity of Holy Scripture in setting moral re-straints in the lives of Disciples. Both the OT and the NT explicit-ly and specifically prohibit gay and lesbian relationships and bestality. Check it out loyal and devout Pilgrim!!
Biblical integrity must be unflinchingly maintained. It contains the only salvific Message in the world. Change the Bible and Chris-tianity will be unrecognisably apostate and dead within 3 genera-tions or less
Let's face the REAL ISSUE. PLEASE. The intent of the LGBTQs is to destroy the Church that condemns them for sin

Haven't read up on the issues, but scripturally I think that buying doctrinal freedom of conscience at the cost of church facility is a real bargain.
