Benny Hinn Sued by Strang Co.

The lawsuit cites Hinn's 'inappropriate relationship' with Paula White.

Televangelist Benny Hinn is being sued by Strang Communications, a publishing company that alleges that Hinn violated a morality clause in their contract when he began an "inappropriate relationship" with Without Walls pastor Paula White.

In August, The National Enquirer published photos of Hinn and White holding hands in Rome. Hinn was married to Suzanne Hinn at the time. His wife had filed for divorce in February 2010.

"I will not deny that the friendship has strengthened, and, while it has remained morally pure at all times, I have enjoyed the company of someone who has also gone through the trauma of a painful and public divorce," Hinn said in a statement at the time.

Hinn acknowledged to his publisher "his inappropriate relationship" with White in August, the suit, obtained by the Orlando Sentinel, says. Strang Co. (now known as Charisma Media) says that it should receive $250,000 of unrecouped royalties but Hinn has refused to pay the amount.

Hinn had signed a three-book deal and was paid a $300,000 advance for Blood in the Sand (2009). The suit includes a letter where Strang said Hinn violated the contract by failing to work hard enough to market the book, according to the Sentinel.

He failed to make television appearances to promote it, including several on 700 Club, the television show that Pat Robertson founded.

Paula White and her husband divorced in 2007, and she left Without Walls, returning in 2009 after her husband announced his departure due to poor health. White also described the National Enquirer piece as false.

"We were never alone and were in the constant company of staff and other associates, " she said in a statement at the time. "I value my friendship with Pastor Benny and remain supportive with a deep respect of him, his family and his ministry. My relationship with Pastor Benny is genuine and pure and should not be taken out of context."

Hinn and White were cited in Sen. Chuck Grassley's investigation of televangelists, which recently concluded.

Benny Hinn is a Charlatan and False Prophet. (My Opinion) of course, Jesus never needed a crowd to heal, He sometimes told those He healed not to tell anyone! Benny and his ilk continue to make millions on the backs of those who tithe. Fools they may be but fools who are looking for help. Jesus had No 'Pimp Suits' or book deals, TV appearances, Mansions, or Fat bank accounts!!!.........I hope God continues to expose these Phony Rich servants who refuse to serve in Humility and Love!!

I think all should quit jumping to conclusions and wait until there is proof positive. No, I'm not a Benny Hinn fan.

Does anyone else go to rome holding hands with someone who is not their wife? I'm not jumping to conclusions, but come on people lets not put our heads in the sand...this is not good for two people who already are in the not "living above reproach" hall of fame.

I am surprised the Strangs would enter into an agreement with such a loose cannon.

In no way do I feel comfortable with Benny Hinn nor do I approve of some of the things he does. However, I agree with "Outlaw" that no conclusions should be drawn until proof is offered.

I don't agree with the inference that God has a problem with rich ministers as Sarah Bailey implies with her remarks about "fat bank accounts", "pimp suits" and book deals". Too many people think ministers of all types should be kept poor and humble, which, to them, equates with holiness. On the contrary, I think the Lord enjoys blessing His people (ministers included) financially...it's both how they steward the money they have and how they got it that counts. That's what we should be judging, not simply the fact that they have money.

Could they not find a Christian mediator? Also, has the principle enunciated in 1 Corinthians been repealed?

Benny Hinn...I've watched his 'ministry' many times. I've seen the documentaries proving unethical behavior. People can justify just about anything in these times. I don't buy it --- never have. The wealth that is amassed by these high profile preachers is a stumbling block and a affront to the ministry.

"Judge not lest ye be judged..." Matthew. Benny Hinn is not saying he is above anything...nor is Ms White. We have no room to comment any negative on this. If comments are given, it should be with caution. I like to think when people give into any ministry--healing or otherwise--it is to be used for a good. Let God take care of the details.
Even Jesus said, "he/she who is without sin, cast ye the first stone." The multitude with the stones...dropped them;
remember?
Let's just pray for this situation--for these people and God will turn it around for His glory.

Why does anyone even pay any mind to that charlatan? As for waiting for proof about what went on in that hotel room, are we really that naive? If his lying about being invited to Rome by the Vatican isn't enough to make you realize that he's unbalanced, what will?

Maggie,

Paul also said in 1 Corinthians 5 that it was in fact the believer's responsibility to judge the church and to, if needed, "Purge the evil person from among you." There is more than 1 passage in the bible that has something to say about how to and not to judge.

Here we go again. Matthew 7:1 being quoted ad nauseam. Of course I cannot determine Hinn's eternal destiny nor do I want to be quick to throw stones. I hardly would ever believe for a moment that anyone would ever quote this verse if this article were about child molesters. murderers, wife beaters or terrorists.

As disturbing as the teachings and practices of the evangelists in question are, it is equally disturbing that the other side seems to show no regard for the fact that Scripture clearly forbids us from taking fellow believers to court. It's time for all of us to be serious about adhering to the Word of God--both when it is convenient and when it is not!

Jesus had in many occasions multitudes, he feed them, preached to them and healed them. Don't forget that with Jesus.. It's the same sin just to think about it. Are anyone free from that? Make a comment.

As a former member of the A/G, now turned Reformed like many others, I can speak personally that this false prophet has been and seems to always be a false prophet.I have first hand knowledge where A/G leaders fought against Hinn in 1991-93 behind closed doors with Thomas Trask, formerly A/G presbyter. Trask defended him as well as other Word of Faith, and Charismaniacs of the day.His Good Morning H.S. was revised several times without a public recant which Hinn needed to do at that time.It never happened. His practices are without Biblical mandate and without warrant.Spurgeon thought he had it bad during the Down Grade.I can only imagine what Machen and Van Til would have said if they witnessed this charlatan. We ought to hold heresy trials and kick this heretic out of the church!

I know it's not popular to say, but Jesus never allowed divorce for any other reasons than adultery (Mk 10:9-12). This means that Benny Hinn and his wife's divorce in the first place is violating Jesus' command unless this is the case. But from all we know, it was his wife, Suzanne, who filed for divorce for reasons we have not been told. Benny Hinn, of course, assures us that ”absolutely no immorality” was involved, and that they ”both kept our lives clean and were totally committed to each other for 30 years of marriage".

This is were I get confused. Cause in my understanding, holding hands with another woman while still married is not ”total commitment”. It might not involve sex, but Benny Hinn would have to be either ignorant or naive to think that this would not hurt his wife or break her trust. And I'm dazzled how he later, when his wife filed for divorce, is able to publicly declare his own ”total commitment”.

No one is perfect, not even Benny Hinn. Be thankful to God, if Benny Hinn was the vessel that God used to heal or help you, but do yourself and Benny Hinn a favor: Don't pretend that everything is fine so that sin is not dealt with. Surely neither Jesus or the apostle Paul did that (i.e. Mt 23 and Gal 2:11-21). It steals the glory from the name of Jesus, brings shame on the church, and confusion to those who look to Benny Hinn as a teacher and an example.

Comment to my previous post:
I realize that I might have got the dates wrong, when I wrote that Benny Hinn announced his 'innocence' after the photos were taken. That seems not to be the case. However, it does not change the fact that since they are still married (as far as I know) he is still committed to loving and honoring his wife. This episode doesn't exactly help reconciliation but instead pushes for a divorce.

1 Corinthians 6
Lawsuits Among Believers
1 If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people? 2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! 4 Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, do you ask for a ruling from those whose way of life is scorned in the church? 5 I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? 6 But instead, one brother takes another to court—and this in front of unbelievers!

7 The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? 8 Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters.

I hope God would save Benny Hinn, and he'd be humbled to remove himself from the pulpit.

Aside from this scandal I find Benny Hinn's theology deplorable and his practice very disappointing. During his crusades he screens out the severest cases of the disabled and ill to only bring up mild or un-obvious afflictions in people with headaches, backaches, bunions ect in order to put on his show. Many go away disappointed and with much less money in their wallets.

wow!!!!! I am in no way denying the serious problem morally that 'allegedly' has taken place and consequences that could follow.....but i read people on this thread who are so ready to condemn, ready to determine what constitutes as righteous. Whether or not they did enter into a immoral relationship is not known and probably never will be. Do I believe that He is in need of some serious soul searching and possible hiatus from the ministry?...sure... but in now way would I or should anybody else call for or condemn someone who is considered God's annointed....I just don't think thats a great idea

This thread is a classic example of Christians pulling out of Scripture only those passages that support their argument instead of letting the whole of Scripture change our stance if needed. Yes, Scripture says judge not lest you be judged. Yes it says to take the plank out of your eye before you judge the speck in another person's eye. Yes, Jesus says 'let he who is w/o sin cast the first stone' (John 7:53-8:11--a passage not even in the original text but added later). But we often forget about Paul's teaching in 1 Corinthians 5, not to mention Jesus teachings about knowing a tree by its fruit, etc. Willful sin, false teaching, heresy, etc. doesn't just affect one or two people, but is like leaven and affects the whole lump of dough. We ARE commanded to judge the deeds of those who profess to be Christians who do not live in a Christ-like way, because they will inevitably lead others into their sin, heresy, etc.

Benny Hinn (and many other televangelists) have a long-standing history of teaching heresy and living in such a way (before the public eye, no less!) that spoils the reputation of Christ and Christians before the on-looking world. Jesus says many false prophets will arise, John says many antichrists will come. If we are serious students of the Bible, we must recognize Benny Hinn as one of these anti-Christs and not only speak out against him, but even refuse any sort of association with his cause. Though only God truly knows the heart of a person, the fruits of his life, words, and ministry give evidence to his unbelieving, unrepentant heart.

re. L. Eugene Sparks at February 21, 2011. Boy do I get tired of people quoting Mat. 7:1 on "Do not judge . . " without reading on through v. 20. Other contexts are John. 7:24, 1Cor. 5:11-13, 1Cor. 15:12-13 and Titus 3:10-11.

As for "Even Jesus said, "he/she who is without sin, cast ye the first stone." The multitude with the stones...dropped them; remember?" Yes!! But remember to add on the bit in John 8:11 "Go and sin no more."

Ted Cooper

Thumbs up for Matt's comment on Feb25, 2011!

The fact that Hinn is divorced is grounds enough for him to be removed from the pulpit (according to God's requirements for a pastor/leader of the church). As if his magic show mocking our Lord and savior were not enough.

Shame on all you people! You don't know what you are talking about! You are all just a bunch of mud slingers! I am ashamed of you. Benny Hinn tried to make his marriage work, his wife wanted the divorce. He explained that the ministery is very hard on a marriage. He has to travel so much. He explained long ago that he and Paula had become friends because they had both been left by their spouses. This gave them a common connection because of what they had experienced. His divorce is final now. Have you never reached over and held the hand of a friend or put your arm around a friend? I don't believe anything immoral took place. I think Pastor Benny and Pastor Paula are both too committed to Jesus to risk their relationship with him. They no longer see each other as friends, because they didn't want anyone to think they were romantically involved. They didn't even want the appearance of anything less than a pure relationship with there Lord. People just love to gossip and slander! Remember you have to give an account for every word.

If Benny FALSE what are you???????

to those who feel so pure and holy that they can judge others, wait and see you positions as you will be unseated from those self imposed judgement seats.Any human being shouldnt publicly stand up to denounce a fellow Christain no matter they dont belong to their movement. Ther is only one judge who is righteous, and only one, rather pray for them than trying to destroy them. You cant speak maliciouly about someone as if you have been elected already. Wait and see those who fool themselves and claim to belong to the elect disregarding other christains who are passionately seeking to live for Christ. You who label others wait untill you get your own labels from the real judge.I am so hurt at what Christians have become, stabbing each in the back instead of picking up one other. GO and sit Benny Hinn down if you see him as unfit, after all Christ came for such, not for those born clean like some of you.
Listening to his preaching some of us have got to know Christ better, if he is false all you need to know is that even Paul talked about such preachers, who do the preaching for own gain but indirectly spreading the God.

Jesus was called Beelzebub and was accused of being a glutton and wine bibber.
The "RELIGIOUS" People tried to put as much negative press to Yeshua as possible to curtail their own defaults. Right about the time I have ever made a judgement against someone; the same judgement has boomeranged me right back in the butt, and God was not winking @ my sin or my haughty attitude. One thing about Benny Hinn and all those who have claimed Christ as Savior who have had signs and wonders following them;speaking with new tongues, casting out devils in Jesus ' name or Authority, healing the sick, raising the dead. These are they who have not been ashamed of the name of Yeshua nor the taking on of the same ridicules and hatred He had on Himself. Every person in sin brought to Jesus others were looking for Him to condemn He chose to have mercy in front of them all. God said in His word I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and that my friends, is not OUR call. That is a Sovereign right of the King.

WHen Suszanne Hinn's father ( a Pastor) was dying of cancer, he did not send for Benny HInn but for Dr. Gene Scott to come share communion with him..........Dr. Scott had a strong focus on the second element of the communion.....the bread ..all our illnesses were laid on HIM on the Cross.

If my son in law were this REALLY GOOD Healing minister, I think I would have called him...........unless of course I had doubts about him.

Benny Hinn "took Dr Scott's message on the healing that is available at the communion table" and made it his, publicly talking about it and saying "THE LORD" told him about it.

We received salvation at the cross, and obviously not healing. These false preachers (all of them) take people's money and hope, and then tell the people they don't have enough faith if the "healing" didn't happen. Jesus can and does heal, but it's up to Him where and when. Even when He healed the man at the pool in Bethesda, he left many other people there with their diseases, illnesses and paralysis. If Christians had some special "healing" from these preachers, then why do Christians have the exact same rate of heart disease, cancer, and every other disease, and die at the same rate as non-Christians? There has never been a study showing any difference. We all end up dying unless we will be taken up by Jesus first. Until He comes, there is a 100% rate of dying for everyone at some point in their lives. Our souls live on of course, and go to heaven. Paul said to be absent from the body was to be present with the Lord.

Here is from John 5:
Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five porticoes. In these lay a multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, and withered, waiting for the moving of the waters; for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted. A man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, "Do you wish to get well?" The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me." Jesus said to him, "Get up, pick up your pallet and walk."

There is no record of Jesus choosing to heal the others in those 5 porticoes, Jesus chose to heal one man. Paul prayed 3 times for his thorn to be removed, and God said no, His grace is sufficient.

I've talked to, and tried to comfort, lots of very hurt people who were told by other Christians who believe in this false belief system that they were dying or not healed because they lacked faith. Well, every one of them will die also. And so have the healers who started this in the beginning of the 1900's, and their families, and everyone else. These false teachings, just like other false teachings, only hurt people.

If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." John 8:7

We all make mistakes, Benny Hinn is just in the public eye. Do you think because he's a preacher God expects more from him than you and I.

If Benny Hinn or any Preacher gives the word, do you think they know more than you. Why do you believe they have special access to God's word and wisdom over you.

Your conversations should be about how God is changing lives, how is Kingdom is being established here on earth.

Leave Benny to God, just like how God is there everytime you fall or make mistakes

We are about love, so lets love even those who make mistakes.

K

Kevin, the Bible teaches that those who preach or teach ARE held to a higher standard, so yes, God does expect more. From James 3:1 “Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness”. They are held to a higher standard of morality and in addition, they are given serious warnings about teaching false doctrine, which applies to Benny Hinn as well. He should be removed from any further preaching because of his lies and false preaching. He had made outlandish claims like bringing the dead to life. Well, where are those people who were once dead Kevin? He was also asked to come up with 3 verifiable "healings", and again, he was unable to. You really need to use discernment when listening to preachers, especially those on television. And discernment comes from the Holy Spirit and knowing God's Word. This gives a good answer to the question about restoration of preachers, and also gives the requirements of preachers. http://www.gotquestions.org/pastoral-restoration.html

Do you real feel the presence of god , when u pray ? Sir >>>>>>...

I support both Benny and Charisma, so this seems like a fight between two of my friends. My opinion? Charisma are being a bit over the top. Paul said that Christians should refrain from taking each other to court, and to be perfectly honest, I don't consider Benny holding hands with Paula White inappropriate. Stupid yes, but not the unpardonable sin.

Glenn Beck has been welcomed in Israel as a friend.

He is has told Israel “You are not alone”, and he will hold a huge rally to “restore courage” to the nation.

Many are ecstatic at his support, but others are not so sure.

Next week he will deliver the keynote address at CUFI (Christians United for Israel ).

Two weeks from now , after the Beck-excitement has died down, Israel will go back to its blundering. The nation will still have no strategy, and its powerful allies, such as CUFI, will still have no idea how to apply their strength.

Several months ago Mr. Beck held a Tea Party rally in the United States to restore honor. Of course it fizzled out, because there is no substitute for strategy.

There is no substitute for having a plan and carrying it out, and if Israel does not adopt the strategy of restoring moral fiber, then Israel will never have any strategy or identity at all. When Israel finally does take up the cause of restoring moral fiber, the Gentiles will rush to the nation’s side, and Israel’s enemies will be knocked flying.

Obviously this strategy excludes the Talmudic synagogue, for they are the destroyers of moral fiber. The Gentiles will likewise exclude those who make a mockery of decency, honor, kindness and discipline.

When the Jews wake up to this simple truth, and begin to put their new awareness into action, then they will be able to guide the efforts of talented people like Mr. Beck, and no power on earth will stop a concerted drive by such people. At the moment, Mr. Beck is telling Israel what to do, rather than the other way round, but Mr. Beck does not have any grand strategy, and is therefore something of a loose cannon.

Why make the big deal as does the media? If you are sending them money that could be tithes that should stay in your local church, shame on you. If you are sending them offerings for their ministries, pray about. Let God be the judge. If you have doubts about what your money is doing, then send it somewhere else. If their ministries are truely of God, He will provide as He needs.

My opinion is strong enough to think that God is a jealous God and he do not want to let anyone get the Glory only He deserve, this is one way of showing the whole church and the world as well, that Hinn, and so with other christian superstar are equal in the sight of God with those who did small unnoticed things in the church, they are the same regardless of what He or She have accomplice{ well we can do nothing without HIM, we haven't done anything anyway according to that word} what we need to look into is when time the Lord judge the small and the great where everyone give an account for himself, either in eternal joy with God or eternal damnation, Mr. Hinn is pretty sure aware of that, and possibly prepared, like david in the bible, and those who come to bring him down in one way or the other might miss the mark... terrible.. missing the mark of the most important part... the JUDGEMENT SEAT.

So anyone who is on TV is a heretic

how many people do you ciritersize without money/ so how many ca he help without it. No one will listen to us today if we live off wild honey and locust as John the baptize did they including you would say this was A cult. where much is given much is required you need something to even write A book paper lighten up God will judge, nobody gets away.Preachers are friends that doesn't mean they are dating even if they were they are single every body need somebody ,don't you.

I watched Benny Hinn on his TV program. I was not comfortable. I was looking for strength/ answers from God/ healing from God/ Gods direction and answers in my life. I had been a christian since I was 18 y/o and God had called me since I was 6 y/o.

Later I saw Benny Hinn preaching films from when he was a pastor at a big church in Florida. It was very good. It was very good doctrionaly sound and opening the scriptures and explaining the passages. Everything he talked about he read scriptures and quoted scriptures.
I said this man is not just emotionalism, hype, he knows the bible and he knows God or he would not be able to teach like this.
Due to this I began to watch his TV show daily on my days off. This was about 1999- 2006 My faith in healing began to be increased. I had a nephew, non christian ,who was legally blind from a disease where the cornea of the eye bulges out and can burst eventually. He is in coke bottle thick contact lens to keep the cornea from rupturing. He agreed to go to Benny Hinn healing crusade in Dallas around 2000 as I remember. We went. I became very uncomfortable with what I was seeing in the crusade. I saw a lot of emotionalism, no meat. I saw a lot of playing on words and showmanship from Benny. At one time he called his wife onto stage to give her a present of a huge portrait he had had painted, of her as I remember, to let her know she was appreciated and valued. I remember watching her body language and thinking. Uh Oh' something is wrong. She is not comfortable. She is also standing far away from him, is not comfortable with him and I read divorce in her body language.(?)... Something is not right. The more and more that went on on the stage I got more and more uncomfortable. It was not strength/ power/ dependence on God.It was just not right. I glanced at my 23 yo nephew. I saw sadness in his face. I saw unbelief and lack of respect for Benny. My nephew had been searching for God for several years and is agnostic due to this. He was raised in Muslim / christian turned to Scientology/ Athiest part Scientology parent home. From this he really wanted healing. He was looking for answers. He sees through to manipulation and he just patiently waited for the service to be over and we left. He had agreed to go to 3 nights. He did not go again. Also I did not go again also. I just was not comfortable. I watched the TV program hoping for truth and answers. Slowly from the TV program my faith began to be build again . I would be uncomfortable with what I would hear on the TV program, but I would over and over say, it is just hype and he is a dramatic personality. So many things however I became more and more uncomfortable with. I would find my self saying, " That is not in the Bible"! I would get tired and stop watching, then I would get hungry and watch again. I was always hoping I was wrong.
Finally in 2007 I believe, I went to a 3 day Benny Hinn seminar in Dallas , Texas taught at Grapevine area in a big expensive hotel area. I took of work 3 days. I am a single parent. The first day I went I was struck how expensive and big the area was. It was not just a fancy hotel, It was one of the most expensive Lodge type facilities in Dallas Fort Worth Area. The service began. Benny came out. He spoke about that he had been invited by the President of Venezuela to come to Venezuela to hold a healing crusade. The President who was historically a ( NOT SO NICE person and Dictator) had been seen watching a Benny Hinn TV program on reports of the healings in the crusades. Staff and servants in the room had seen tears rolling down his cheeks. Now he has personally called and asked for a healing crusade in Venezuela. He also had ordered all buses in the city and surrounding area to be available to bring everyone to the crusades. Benny Hinn needed donations to spread Gods word to Venezuela. ( Oh, this was so wonderful that this had opened up to spread God to Venezuela and a Dictator President it looked like was having his heart softened and was coming to God as savior. I was stirred up to donate for Gods purpose. I gave a check for $128. That is all I could give, all the extra $ available. My budget is very limited. ) ( A lady 1 row in front and 4 seats to my right began speaking in tongues and quickly increased in sound. Steve Brock and 2 other men who were in area to keep things organized came to quieten her down. She escalated to near screaming and would not be quieted. She finally quieted or they gently escorted her to where she could be quiet so she would not disturb the service). After that the time of teaching that, the seminar was about, began. Benny Hinn was disorganized, rambling. There was a lot of emotionalism, showman ship etc thrown in. There was no meat. He took something that could have been easily said in 10 min and talked about it for about 1 hour.It was nothing, it was empty. It was rambling and turned over and over. I'm sorry but it was such a waste of time. I have studied the Bible through in depth word for 5 times in the first 8 years of being a christian.I know what is in there and what is not. I have listened to teaching by John Hagee , other teachers who take work the word and expound on it. I listen to Kenneth Copeland. I have taken Precepts Upon Precepts Bible Studies.
I was so sad as I sat there. I was so sad for Benny. I wanted him to succeed. I was seeing the truth though. I left that evening so sad and so angry at myself that I had taken off 3 days to come to this. I was not coming back to waste my time. I had lost 2 more days work though and I would not be paid.( Everything in my spirit was screaming this is not right. This is not biblical. This is just not right. This is emotionalism. This is not Biblical teaching. What I read in the healing crusade was right. I just fooled myself because I was hungry for demonstration of power from God. I want to see God heal and I want to see his power on display in the world. ...Jesus said after he had risen from the dead and just before he was to ascend into heaven," ALL POWER AND AUTHORITY IN THE HEAVENLIES AND HERE ON EARTH HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME, AND I GIVE IT NOW TO YOU. GO NOW INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO ALL CREATURES, RAISE THE DEAD, HEAL THE SICK, AND MAKE DECIPLES IN MY NAME ". ) ( Disciple means studied learned one.One who rightly divides the word of truth).
After that I watched the Binny Hinn TV program to see about the Venezuela crusade healing report. I wanted to see news from the president who had invited Benny Hinn to have healing crusade in Venezuala. I was able to record or watch all shows. 2 months went by. I never heard comment about Venezuela president saying any thing to Benny Hinn. I felt so sad and so stupid. I heard a lot of hype and a lot of calls for $ to donate. I never heard about message from Prsident of Venezuela. I felt so angry. I felt, I have been duped. (You knew in your heart, from watching sporadically the TV programs. You knew. Now you have donated $ 128 and it has been wasted. The same $ could have been sent to World Vision to help save the life of a starving child to prevent death. It could have used as a Micro Loan to help single parent get a $ 100 loan to start a business with teaching. From this a starving family could have become independent and also been able to send their children to school. )

I have never spent $ again with Benny Hinn. I have sporadically watched him on his show. I have seen him go down hill. I have seen him become more disorganized.
I began looking on Ministry Watch , Watchers on the Wall, ECFA
(Evangelical Council For Financial Accountability ) To see his reviews. They have all been ( F ) I am sorry to say.
This had made me sad, year after year. As of 9/ 2011 it is still same.

I did find an organization wonderful in Carrollton,Texas.
It is GOSPEL FOR ASIA. They work specifically in the 10 - 40 window. there are 2.7 Billion People who have never heard the name of Jesus in that area.
There are over 100,000 orphans just on the streets and slum of Mumbai, India. Many of these orphans are 1 yo , 2 yo, 3 yo , 9 yo. Sometimes they suck a dog for milk to survive on. THE GIRLS USUALLY LAST 3 DAYS ON THE STREET. THEY ARE KIDNAPPED INTO SEX SLAVE TRADE. YES 2 Y/O AND 3 Y/O GIRLS ARE PLACED IN SEX SLAVE TRADE. The BOYS USUALLY LAST 3-5 YEARS BEFORE THE DIE.
GOSPEL FOR ASIA sends 100 % of every penny donated for to the Missionary Field every month. They are 100 % under Gods leadership. They do not do something if the Holey Spirit directs them not to. They do something if the Holey Spirit directs them. The Holey Spirit talks to them. They study the Bible Inductive Bible Study. God uses them for healing frequently. They have the people names and pictures of people healed. They have a Bridge Of Hope Program that provides free schooling to orphans and desperately poor children from families in all areas of India and across the 10 -40 Window. The Bridge Of Hope School provides 1 large healthy meal a day for the children. They also provide uniforms so the children have dignity. They give the orphans a bath and dress them each day , when they arrive to school. The other children take their uniforms home and wash and dress at home. The children are taught that Jesus loves them and that he loves them so much he died for them. They are taught songs/ bible stories. The children who have families sing the songs and tell stories at home. Many of he families from Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, have learned of Jesus from their children and come to believe in Jesus. Missionaries and teachers from the schools visit the families and help them. Many of the children with sick family members have asked teachers to pray. The teachers have gone to their home. The family members have been healed. The Bridge Of Hope keeps children alive. It also gives them a future. As of 2011 they have 59,000 children in Bridge Of Hope Schools. All teachers are missionaries. They also help Widows and orphans on the street. ( In India the culture is that the widow is blamed for her husbands death. Even if he is a bad violent alcoholic and is killed in an accident far from home. The widows own family takes off her clothes and gives widows clothes. They take off all her jewelry and they push HER AND HER TODDLER CHILDREN OUT OF HER HOME ONTO THE STREET. THEY HAVE NO $ NO FOOD AND NO PLACE TO STAY. THEY STARVE AND BEG. Many Times The mother dies leaving all children orphans. The families do not rescue the children. Sometimes an uncle will take a child into their home, but the child will sleep on the floor. He will not be given food, clothing, school. Gospel For Asia also gives Goats, Pigs, Rabbits, Rickshaws, Push Carts, Vocational Training, to the poorest of the poor from all religious backgrounds. This is to show the love of Christ to help them live. The missionaries live on $200 - $250 dollars a month for them and their families. They live just like the people they are going to serve. They show them the love of Christ and the power of Christ. Several 1,000 churches are planted a year all over the 10 40 window.
A child dies in the 10 - 40 window every 20 minutes from water born diseases. Gospel For Asia goes in and digs deep Water Wells. They supply a whole village. They usually build the Jesus Well near a Church so people who come can be talked to about the love of Christ.

We know truth in our spirit. We choose not to follow it because of our needs and wants.
Each of us knows the truth if we quietly ask God to direct us by the Holey Spirit.

THANK YOU

Strang and Charisma Media may be able to sue by reason of U.S. law, but according to God's Word brothers in Christ aren't supposed to be suing each other.

1Corinthians 6:5-8

I suppose Strang and Charisma Media are more concerned about book sales and profits than restoring a hurting brother in the faith and broken man before God, who has endured a painful divorce.

Paul F Davis - author of Breakthrough For a Broken Heart

"Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee" Acts 3 v6.

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6 v24

"22Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
23And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
24And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
25For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." Luke 18

"1This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
8Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
11Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
12Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
13For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 3

While I must admit that I'm no Benny Hinn fan, it sounds like the company bringing the lawsuit against him is just clutching at straws trying to get out of paying him money for the book deal. It seems like Benny's impending divorce is going to ruin the sales of the books and they are trying to avoid losing money because of this. However, there has been no immorality proven. End of story.

No one should judge. We should just pray for him and not speculate.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

May we pray for eyes that see and ears that hear and buy gold purified by the fire from our Lord (Rev.3.17-19).

As Christians we are to listen for His voice and follow no other. Then we are to hear Him and obey Him - very simple to understand, but requires discernment and power from God to obey. May we follow His voice and not those of strangers or wolves in sheep's clothing. We are responsible for who we follow....

John 10
The Good Shepherd and His Sheep
1 “I tell you the truth, anyone who sneaks over the wall of a sheepfold, rather than going through the gate, must surely be a thief and a robber! 2 But the one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice. 5 They won’t follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don’t know his voice.”
