Pastors Sue Kenyan Government Over Lack Of Protection

Church attacks by Islamist extremists have Christians worried the nation may go the way of Nigeria.

Protestant churches in Kenya are suing the country's federal government, alleging a lack of help and protection following recent attacks.

The National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) filed suit over riots that shook Mombasa in August and destroyed four local churches. The NCCK is seeking greater protection from the East African government, claiming that it is failing in its constitutional obligation to protect all citizens.

“The government bears full responsibility for the violation of the human rights and fundamental freedoms of the victims who are under its care," said Peter Karanja, general secretary of the NCCK.

NCCK claims that the violence was politically and religiously motivated, led by the Somalia-based Al Shabab extremist group.

The NCCK is also seeking response from the International Criminal Court (ICC).

CT previously reported a grenade attack against a Kenyan church in July, as well as a prayer rally protesting revisions to the Kenyan constitution.

The concerns of the Kenyan pastors are ENTIRELY justified. Islam has as its goal world domination and it will stop at nothing to achieve it. Those who think otherwise are naive at best and complicit at worst. One only has to look around the world to see this happening. Today, under the pretext of outrage over some obscure film Islam is intimidating governments far and wide into giving in to their agenda or else face riots and worse. When "ordinary" Muslims (so called!) march in the streets around the world shouting "Obama, we are all Osama" we need to wake up to this vicious reality.

Sorry Jim! The West is wide awake, but just plain scared of Islam.

This is appeasement time. First you apologize for hurting their feeling by publishing a few cartoons. Then you say you are sorry that someone is planning to burn their 'holy' book. Then you blame the ones who produced the offensive film, and even haul him in for questioning in full violation of his right to free speech. However nothing you do have stopped them from rioting, burning, looting and killing.

You will contort yourself into a pretzel and still not appease them, because their aim is to totally subjugate you. They are awake Jim! They just haven't got the message yet: there is no 'peace' until the infidel submits, is conquered or dies.
