Obama Ditching Family Planning from the Stimulus

AP is reporting:

President Barack Obama has told congressional Democrats to drop a proposal to spend money on family planning from the proposed $825 billion plan to stimulate the economy, a White House aide told McClatchy.

Obama is likely to offer that concession when he meets Tuesday with congressional Republicans, who've complained bitterly that the proposal is liberal pork that has nothing to do with stimulating the economy or creating jobs.

Well, there's one step. I'm sure it will come back up in another totally unrelated bill.

It can come up often, as long as we are watchful and commited to contacting our congressmen and women and speaking out in opposition to it and other things in the proper circles, it need never take deep root in our society. Understand this takes a lot more dilligence and hard work than many are willing to impart. But then I always ask how much a human life is worth to me.

without God there would be no life at all!

without life, there would be no God.
