Andrea Minor

Get to know Andrea Minor, one of our Gifted for Leadership editorial advisors.

Minor_Andreasized.jpgAndrea Minor is the creative arts director for Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village, California. She is the wife of Rex Minor, the discipleship pastor at Calvary, and the mother to high school senior Trent and his two college-age sisters, Mallory and Paige.

Growing up in the church, Andrea discovered her gift of leadership at a young age. Leading and equipping others through discipleship, Bible studies, and teaching became a passion. Inspiring others to use their gifts in the local church is what she loves most about ministry.

Prior to joining the Calvary staff, Andrea was on staff for 11 years at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois. She served as a children’s pastor for seven years and then as women’s ministries director for four years.

Andrea’s passion, outside of her family, is to see people use their gifts or God-given abilities and to create “moments” for life change in each weekend service.
